Timing is Everything

Timing is everything.
Ask any comedian.
Ask a record label.
Ask a quarterback.
Ask my mom.

First, I'll say that timing can be controlled and then sometimes it just happens. Fate opens up opportunities. For example, after a long term relationship that didn't work, fate drops someone magical right in front of you. You didn't meet this person years ago when you were in your other relationship, and you didn't meet them months after the big breakup when you were trying to seriously date all the wrong people. No, it happened unexpectedly, at just the right moment. Timing is everything.

Then, there's the kind of timing you learn to gain control of. This is the timing that comedians and quarterbacks work to develop. It will make or break you. This is the timing that you find a dire need to own when you're going through a divorce, and staying at your parents house (in the interim) and learn that during weekdays while your alarm is going off, like clockwork, your mom is taking a dump right before you have to step in the bathroom for a shower.
